Garment Care Guide

Each piece that we produce is entirely hand-dyed and hand-knit.  This process is slower so its important to patient as we work diligently to fill orders as we receive them. Each pieces is made from 100% Washable Extra Fine Merino Wool. Proper care of this material will help to ensure a long life for your knitted piece.  Excess motion while washing and heat are the enemies of wool.  The agitation in the wash causes the wool fibers to felt and the excessive heat from the dryer will shrink the piece.  Here is an easy list to follow when caring for your garment.

Hand or Machine Wash in Cold Water on Gentle Cycle

Use Woolite as Detergent

Wash New items alone as dye has a tendency to bleed the first few washes

Lay flat to dry or tumble dry on Very Low heat or fluff

Do not Iron. Do not Bleach.

use a dry razor like a gillette to shave off any pilling.                                                               this will keep your piece looking new
